A. John Linatoc DMD,MS,PC

 Dr. Linatoc was born in Petersburg Virginia & moved to Rome at the age of 2 months. He graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School & West Rome High School. He earned a BS degree in chemistry from  the University of Georgia.  His dental training consisted of a DMD degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Where he joined the faculty in the department of Periodontics & completed a dual degree program, consisting of a certificate in periodontics and a master's degree in oral biology . He has completed the Medical College of Georgia Maxi Course on Dental lmplantology as well as The Dental Implant Continuum. He trained at University of Alabama & the Medical college of Georgia in sedation & anesthesia. He maintains hospital privileges in the department of surgery at Floyd Medical Center.

He has performed presentations at the Hinman Dental Society Meeting, St. Theresa's Guild, Fort Payne Alabama Dental Study Group, St. Mary's School, Southern Association of Institutional Dentists Annual Seminar, National Institute of Dental Research, Georgia Dental Society, Medical College of Georgia Dental Hygiene Program, Floyd Medical Center Prenatal Class, Floyd College Heath Fair, Grand Rounds at Northwest Georgia Regional Hospital, & the Medical College of Georgia Department of Periodontics.

He bestowed membership in the Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society. He earned the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry Senior Student Clinic Production award three times. He was awarded the Quintessence International Research Award and the Dental Radiology Award. He has served as president of the Medical College of Georgia Periodontal Alumni Association. Publications include articles in the Journal of Dental Research and contributing author of the text: Dental Analogies. Dr. Linatoc serves his community as a Basic Life Support Instructor & being part of the Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corps. He is an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Dr. Linatoc enjoys spending time with his family. He was recently awarded the most valuable parent for the Rome High School Cross Country team. He enjoys the great outdoors and his fitness friends/family at the YMCA.
